At Palmetto Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Dr. Rhyne, Dr. Shelbourne, and staff go beyond your expectations to provide you with excellent patient care. Our oral and maxillofacial surgeons have advanced training in anesthesia, allowing them to perform procedures safely in the comfort of an outpatient office setting.

Not only are the doctors highly qualified, but so are their surgical assistants.  Our assistants are certified as OMFS anesthesia assistants, which requires an understanding of basic sciences, patient evaluation and preparation, anesthetic drugs and techniques, monitoring, and emergency procedures.  We congratulate them for also maintaining certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).  Both of these certifications indicate our staff's ability to provide a higher level of care for our patients.
